BF4 china rising bannerEA has revealed a ton of Battlefield 4 news today. Not only did we finally get an official Battlefield 4 release date, it was also confirmed that the game is coming to next gen system as well.
But EA and DICE aren’t done, apparently. They also revealed a brand new Battlefield 4 DLC, called “China Rising”. The new downloadable content will be offered for free to those who pre-order the game, which begs the question: what happened to Drone Strike, the original DLC that was offered to those who pre-ordered?
Anyways, Battlefield 4 China Rising will feature 4 new maps, new vehicles, and as the promo image puts it, “high tech gear”. We imagine it’ll include a bunch of new dog tags, awards, assignments, weapon skins, and other goodies.
The China Rising DLC will also be offered free of charge to Battlefield 4 Premium members. Otherwise, it will likely retail at $15, just as the previous DLC in the series. Looks like we just got another great reason to pre order the game.
DICE has revealed the official box art of the DLC, and some screenshots as well, which you can find below:
